The Hyundai INSTER is available in three trims: INSTER 01, INSTER 02 and INSTER CROSS.

INSTER 01 opens the range with generous standard specification and a choice of 42kWh Standard Range or 49kWh Long Range battery. It rides on 15 inch alloy wheels and includes key features such as climate control, a rear view camera and Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go.

INSTER 02 enhances comfort and convenience with 17 inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and additional interior upgrades.

INSTER CROSS adds a more rugged character, featuring a unique exterior design pack with distinctive bumpers, side skirts, roof rails and 17 inch alloy wheels. It also benefits from additional driver assistance features and the option of matt paint finishes.

A choice of solid, metallic, pearl and special paint colours allows you to personalise your INSTER to suit your style.

Features of the New Hyundai INSTER

The new Hyundai INSTER comes well equipped across the range. Inside, the flexible four seat layout includes sliding and reclining rear seats on selected trims, along with 50-50 split folding rear backrests for added practicality.

Despite its compact footprint, luggage capacity offers up to 280 litres with the seats up and up to 1059 litres with the rear seats folded. A heat pump and battery heater are fitted as standard, helping to support efficiency in colder conditions.

Hyundai INSTER Electric Motor and Battery Options

The INSTER is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and is available with two battery options.

The 42kWh Standard Range version delivers 97PS and 147Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 62mph in 11.7 seconds with a top speed of 87mph. It offers a maximum potential range of up to 203 miles on the WLTP combined cycle.

The 49kWh Long Range model increases output to 115PS while maintaining 147Nm of torque. It reduces the 0 to 62mph time to 10.6 seconds and raises the top speed to 93mph. This version can achieve a maximum potential range of up to 229 miles WLTP combined, depending on specification.

Charging at home using a 7.4kW wallbox can take just over six hours from 10 to 100 percent, depending on battery size. Using a 150kW public rapid charger, charging from 10 to 80 percent can take around 30 minutes, subject to conditions.

Technology

Every Hyundai INSTER features a 10.25 inch touchscreen navigation system with Bluelink connectivity and a 10.25 inch digital driver display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard, allowing seamless smartphone integration.

You will also find Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, USB C charging ports, steering wheel mounted controls and Smart Key keyless entry, creating a connected and intuitive driving experience.

Performance and Safety

Safety is a key focus in the INSTER. Standard features include multiple airbags, Anti lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Driver assistance systems include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with car, pedestrian and cyclist detection, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Follow Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist and Highway Drive Assist. INSTER CROSS further enhances protection with features such as Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist and a Surround View Monitor.
